It takes us more time than expected to piece everything together, and we do have many other things to do besides greenday.org.In Green Day news, the European American Idiot tour now starts, followed by a worldwide tour, through Australia and Japan in March, and the United States in April and May. | 07/30/2004 | New US tour dates An article on MTV.com reports a Green Day US tour in October and November, kicking off October 19 in Ft. Worth, TX, with New Found Glory and Sugarcult as opening bands. A mini tour starting September 21, the day American Idiot hits stores, where they'll perform the album in its entirety, is reported as well! Green Day also played yesterday a surprise concert at the The Grand Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles. |

| 07/01/2004 | American Idiot in a video game According to MTV.com, American Idiot, the title track of Green Day's new album of the same name, will already be available on August 12, 2004 (42 days from today!) in the Madden 2005 video game, even before it gets radio airplay. MTV also published yesterday in an article the cover artwork for the album, here on the right.As promised earlier this year, this website will be fully opened before the end of this year (2004). Sorry for the delay, but it really takes a lot of time to write everything, and we can only work on it during our free time, which tends to get rare those days ;-) |

| 05/17/2004 | New album name As reported first by radio station KROQ - I think - and followed by other music and Green Day sites this weekend, the title and release date of the new Green Day album have been announced! American Idiot, September 14, 2004. This is serious news, here's some kind of proof I found out: the Internet domains americanidiot.org and americanidiot.net have been registered by Green Day's management on April 7 this year. So the title was already decided a few weeks ago. By the way, the domains americanidiot.com and american-idiot.com were already registered before, but american-idiot.org and american-idiot.net are still free to register. So if you need a cool domain name for your own site, here's your opportunity and act fast! |

No precise date or month yet, but it's gonna "blow you away"! Same goes for the launch of this greenday.org site. We have no opening date yet, but promise it'll happen sometime in 2004.
